Has anyone had the chance to ride the Kawasaki Ninja e-1 yet? It looks like a solid electric option for city commuting, but availability seems pretty limited so far.

For those considering it, the Ninja e-1 seems ideal for short trips like grabbing food or commuting without needing to fire up a gas-powered sportbike. It’s got the familiar Kawasaki styling and for fans of the brand it could be the perfect second bike for urban riding.

That said, range and charging time are still key concerns. Is it practical enough for daily use or does it still fall short compared to some of the other electric options out there? how does it compare to a lightweight gas bike in terms of fun and usability?

The Ninja e-1 looks great on paper but the limited range (~40-50 miles per charge) makes me wonder if it’s truly practical for daily use. If you’re just using it for short trips it could work but if you need flexibility for longer rides a lightweight gas bike like a Ninja 400 or a Z400 still makes more sense. Until battery efficiency improves or fast charging becomes a thing for bikes gas is still king for all-around usability.
