Ninja E1 electric bike quick enough or too slow

I haven’t ridden the E1, but with its 7hp motor, it’s not gonna be fast. For comparison, a Ninja 250 has 28hp and it’s pretty slow, like a Camry. A friend said the E1 is "quick enough" in normal mode, but eco mode really slows it down. Boost button helps, but the range is only around 50km. It handles well though and is fun to ride, just don’t expect much range

I reserved one when they were first announced and was told it would arrive in December. Now it’s March and I’m still waiting
