I was excited about it at first, but the range and speed are a dealbreaker, my 25-mile commute might work at 55 mph, but charging all day at work isn’t an option. It feels more it is suited for short city rides than highway commutes.

Yeah, Kawasaki really dropped the ball on range and speed with the Z e-1. A so-called commuter bike that struggles with a 25-mile ride? That’s ridiculous. This thing is basically a toy for short city hops, not a real alternative to a gas bike. At this point, unless you live right next to your job, it’s hard to justify.

A true commuter bike should handle daily rides without constant charging.
