I was excited about it at first, but the range and speed are a dealbreaker, my 25-mile commute might work at 55 mph, but charging all day at work isn’t an option. It feels more it is suited for short city rides than highway commutes.
A true commuter bike should handle daily rides without constant charging.Yeah, Kawasaki really dropped the ball on range and speed with the Z e-1. A so-called commuter bike that struggles with a 25-mile ride? That’s ridiculous. This thing is basically a toy for short city hops, not a real alternative to a gas bike. At this point, unless you live right next to your job, it’s hard to justify.
It’s disappointing because the potential was there, a little more range and speed, and it could’ve been a real contender.Kawasaki missed the mark., this feels more like a city-only toy.
